Please join us for our Annual Mag 7 Fundraiser!!  The Mag 7 Season Kick-off 5k!!  Runners and walkers welcome!

As with last year, this will be an out and back course.  We will start on the paved path (just across parking lot from splash pad), and head north.  The turn around will be behind Highland Park Elementary, where we’ll also have a water station.  This is at the 1.55 mile mark.  There will also be police presence (Thanks Sheriff Brad Swain and crew!) along the course (on bikes/ATV), and volunteers at the railroad crossing and water station.

This event will be timed.  In addition, 10 EXTRA PARTICIPATION POINTS will be earned just for signing up!! So why not SIGN UP!?!

We encourage TEAMS for this event.  So come wearing your team shirt, participate, and the team with the MOST participants present on race day will be awarded the Traveling Trophy.  In years past, Salt Creek Brewery (2015) and the C-Zone Fitness Studio (2016) had the most participants.

***Please NO PETS on the course as this race will be on the Karst Farm Park greenway paved path, which is narrow.  And bringing pets to participate in the event is a safety concern, so please refrain. Thank you.

This event is our main fundraiser for the 2017 race season.  Your registration is a Donation to this series, so thank you, thank you, thank you!! That being said, NO REFUNDS will be given.

Register by Friday March 10th to be guaranteed a t-shirt.  Registrations after this date and time may get you a t-shirt, but it is not guaranteed.  We will have a long sleeved cotton t-shirt again this year.  Sample is attached.  Shirts are uni-sex, so order size accordingly.

Online registration taken through 6pm on Wednesday 3/22/17.  If it’s after this date/time and you want to sign up, no worries!!  Just show up on race day starting at 8am to sign up on site.

Mag 7 2017 SHIRT design

Race day registration AND pre-registered packet pick-up will start at 8am at Karst (Shelter #8) and end by 8:45am.  Race will start promptly at 9am.  Bagels – from our wonderful series sponsor, Bloomington Bagel Company, Bananas (compliments of Piazza Produce) and water will be provided at the finish area, after the race.  The STIR Mobile Coffee van will also be present near the finish line if you would like to purchase any additional beverages/snacks.

Stick around after the race, as around 10am we will start with the Award presentation and raffle prize drawing.

SMITH’S SHOE CENTER will be providing GIFT CERTIFICATES for all award winners!!! And we’ll have some great raffle prizes too!

Top 3 Overall Male/Female Walkers

First Place Male/Female Age Group Winner (Runners only): 9 & under, 10-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 & over
